This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and collects no personal data about you. There is nothing to opt out of, because there is nothing being gathered.

This policy covers the website at betulanoir.com, which is operated by Betula Noir LLC of Austin, Texas. Our apps have their own policies, because they do different things: for duk., see the duk. privacy policy.

What we collect

Nothing. This site has no accounts, no login, no comment system, no contact form, no newsletter signup, no advertising, and no third-party trackers or embedded widgets. We do not set cookies, and we run no analytics product of any kind, so we cannot tell you how many people visited this page, because we do not know.

Server logs

The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes standard request information such as IP address, browser user agent, and the URL requested, in order to deliver pages and to protect the site from abuse. We do not use that information to build any profile of you, and it is handled under Cloudflare's own privacy terms as our hosting provider.

Fonts

Our typefaces, Newsreader and Hanken Grotesk, are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser requests those font files from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. That request is visible to Google and is governed by Google's privacy policy. It is the only third-party request this site makes, and no other third-party scripts, pixels, or beacons run here.

Email you send us

If you write to support@betulanoir.com or consulting@betulanoir.com, we receive your message, your email address, and anything else you choose to include. We use it only to answer you and to keep a record of the correspondence. We do not add you to any mailing list, and we do not sell, rent, or share your address with anyone. Our mail is hosted on Google Workspace, which processes it as our provider.

Links out

Where we link to another site, such as the App Store or TestFlight, that site has its own privacy policy and we have no control over what it does. Following a link means leaving this one.

Your rights

Because this website collects no personal data, there is generally nothing for us to retrieve, correct, or delete. If you have emailed us and want that correspondence deleted, write to support@betulanoir.com and we will remove it.

Children

This site is suitable for all ages and knowingly collects no personal data from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top. Material changes will be described rather than slipped in quietly.
